According to the latest data, the number of people killed during the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall has reached 137 people. Late on Sunday evening, the court, at the request of the investigation, arrested the first suspects in the terrorist attack case.

The Basmanny court, at the request of the investigation, arrested the first suspects in the case of a terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow for two months – until May 22. One of them is 32 years old Dalerjon Mirzoev. In Russia (*aggressor country), he was working with an expired registration in Novosibirsk. Four minor children were waiting for him at home. According to the SHOT telegram channel, Mirzoev listened to the court’s decision, leaning on the glass wall of the “aquarium”. The second is a 30-year-old father of the family Rachabalizoda Saidakrami Murodali. Due to their lack of knowledge of the Russian language, they were provided with an interpreter in court.

In total, Russian security forces detained eleven participants in the terrorist attack. Four direct perpetrators were transported from the Bryansk region, where they were detained while trying to escape to Ukraine. All participants in the mass shooting of civilians and the arson of the concert hall building are charged under Part 3 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (*aggressor country) (terrorism resulting in the death of a person). Thus, the number of victims from shooting and fire does not seem to change. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, their number has increased to 182 people over the past 24 hours.

According to official data, the tragedy has currently claimed the lives of 137 people, but the death toll, alas, may rise. The Ministry of Emergency Situations continues the search operation, and rescuers find the bodies of people hiding from terrorists in a variety of places: in storerooms, basements, toilets.

A number of bodies may still be under the rubble in the concert hall of the complex. Now specialists have made a technical passage to the site to speed up search work.

On Sunday evening, the process of identifying the bodies by relatives of the victims of the tragedy also began. Of the 137 people, only 68 have been identified so far. Experts say that in some cases genetic testing will be required, the first results of which may appear only after two weeks.

Employees of the Investigative Committee and experts are working at the scene of the terrorist attack. As part of the case, a series of examinations have been appointed that will help restore the full picture of the crime, determine the degree of guilt of the militants, their accomplices and officials responsible for various areas, including security. For example, a situational assessment will answer questions about the actions of the security and personnel of Crocus City Hall, the operational headquarters, and departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in resolving the crisis. A forensic medical examination will determine at what point and from what exactly each person died or was injured. The qualifications of the case and the degree of guilt of each person involved in the case depend on this.

Information appeared on the Internet that the white Renault sedan in which the terrorists arrived at Crocus City Hall stopped near the van of the canine service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but the police allegedly did not react to this. Official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Irina Volk denied this information.

“We officially declare that after the police department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Krasnogorsk received information about the shooting, the police arrived at the scene within five minutes. The man in camouflage uniform with a dog, captured on video, has no relation to the internal affairs bodies, – she said.

In addition, according to preliminary data, no violations have yet been identified in the activities of the private security company (PSC) guarding the building.

The operatives had already found an entire arsenal that belonged to the militants: four sets of ammunition (unloading), more than 500 rounds of ammunition and 28 magazines, two machine guns, apparently converted into combat ones from empty ones. Here we must add a Makarov pistol and a machine gun magazine, found by the special services in a terrorist car stopped near the border with Ukraine. And two more machine guns, according to the detainees, they threw out of the car along the road. The weapon will also be sent for examination.

According to the SHOT telegram channel, the criminals’ backpacks contained containers with flammable liquid, which they poured inside the Crocus to set it on fire. But the operatives did not find the mined bodies that were reported by various telegram channels immediately after the tragedy.

Who took part in the terrorist attack

The search for a white Renault Symbol with a black roof began immediately after the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.

FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov reported to the Russian President about the detention of 11 people involved in the terrorist attack, including four direct perpetrators caught in the Bryansk region, not far from the border with Ukraine.

19-year-old Muhammadsobir Faizov, caught in the Bryansk forest, fired back and was wounded while running away. He was allegedly the driver of a white Renault Symbol car, in which the militants tried to escape to Ukraine. During the first interrogation, which was conducted right in the intensive care unit, he admitted that he received fake documents to stay in Russia (*aggressor country) at the airport before flying to the capital. Before agreeing to participate in the execution of Russian citizens, he lived in Ivanovo and worked as a hairdresser.

Besides him, 25-year-old Faridduni Shamsitdin, who admitted that he went to kill at Crocus for five hundred thousand rubles. He said that he communicated with a certain assistant of some preacher, who ordered to kill as many people as possible.
